Jess is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a down-to-earth approach to her work with individuals and couples. She is genuinely invested in her clients and approaches therapy as a collaborative process, combining curiosity and encouragement with honesty and thoughtful challenge. Her goal is to help clients recognize patterns, explore new perspectives, and make changes that align with what matters to them.
She takes a whole-person approach, understanding how physical experiences, emotions, relationships, and sense of self are interconnected. In her work with couples, Jess recognizes that a relationship is shaped by two people, each with their own experiences, needs, and perspectives. She works collaboratively with partners to explore the challenges they’re facing, better understand one another, and find ways forward that support their health, happiness, and well-being.
Jess’s approach is grounded in evidence-informed practice and draws on person-centred and feminist perspectives. She holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Sexual Health, and a Female Pelvic Health Certificate from the University of Alberta. She has also completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy.
